Bancone's next fresh pasta restaurant will be in Kensington

Bancone's next fresh pasta restaurant will be in Kensington

Slowly but surely, some notably interesting restaurants have been opening around High Street Kensington station. We had the excellent Krokodilos fairly recently and now Bancone have picked the area for their fourth location.

If you're unfamiliar with Bancone, they're predominantly all about great fresh pasta dishes (the original restaurant retains a Michelin Bib Gourmand) and the set-up there usually involves a fair bit of counter dining. The signature dish, silk Handkerchiefs with walnut butter and confit egg yolk (and a carbonara version too) will be on the menu here as will their raviolo with smoked potato, new season truffle and egg yolk. Plus, there will be some new dishes just for Kensington:

  • Palourde clams with n’duja and burnt bread
  • Confit tomato, gnochetti sardi, lentil, pickled chilli
  • Monkfish, with saffron mayo, herb salad
  • Rhubarb, almond cake, white chocolate, lemon verbena

So, if you're looking for a reliable (and affordable) pasta restaurant in Kensington, this will be very handy.
