It's been a busy few months for The Public House Group. The company, who are behind The Pelican and The Hero pubs, pulled a double in Notting Hill, opening Canteen and The Fat Badger there in quick succession.
Now we hear that they've set their sights on a new pub much closer to the centre of town. They've taken over what what was The Flowerhouse Pub (and before that, Bok Bar) on Blandford Street right next to the currently-shuttered Chiltern Firehouse.
Their new pub is being renamed The Hart. There will be a pub on the ground floor and a restaurant on the second floor. The third floor looks like being another bar called The Den, so it's a similar arrangement to The Hero which also has a top floor cocktail bar.
We don't know much more than that, or even when it might open. But, as ever, we'll keep you posted when there's news to share.
