Truffle Burger scored a coup last year when they brought over NYC's 7th Street Burger for a pop-up and now they're at it again.
This time the burger company are launching a summer series of special pop-ups in their South Bank location and are kicking things off with another London-first-timer from NYC. This time it's the turn of legendary Harlem institution Charles Pan Fried Chicken, who will be serving up a taste of the Deep South to the South Bank.
Led by chef Charles Gabriel, who is back in London for the first time since his honeymoon in 1975, the Truffle Burger pop-up will be serving up combos of pan-fried chicken, baked mac & cheese, collard greens, and cinnamon citrus-infused yams. You'll also be able to get their banana pudding for dessert. Unlike the 7th Street pop-up, this will be on the South Bank for two weeks, so there will be plenty of time to get your hands on that chicken.
The future pop-ups also sound well worth a trip. Over the summer, they'll have Homer Lobster from France, burritos from Forsyth Fire Escape in NYC, Mexican-American food from Nixta Taqueria, chopped cheese from NYC's Bodega Truck and more.
