The team behind Supernova, Creme and North Audley Canteen know how to make a big splash with their openings. The original Supernova was a massive hit and it looks like their upcoming Mayfair outpost will be very popular.
However, they're also getting ready to open something brand new, which sounds much more interesting. 74 Duke (on Duke Street, of course) will take as its inspiration Parisian brasseries. French food seems to be very much in vogue in London right now, going by restaurants like Josephine, Marceline and the upcoming Marjorie's in Soho. All we know about this new opening so far is that it will be all about "classic French dishes, great wines, and finely prepared cocktails".
So, it's early days on the information front, but as soon as we find out just what they're serving up, we'll let you know.
