A week ago the Brindisa spin-off Bar Kroketa started teasing its followers on Insta with the promise of a third restaurant. Now they've revealed that they're heading to the City for their next opening. They'll be taking over the old Pizarro space on Broadgate Circle.
According to them, "This site is Bar Kroketa’s most ambitious yet, with a bigger space featuring both indoor seating and a terrace for soaking up the noise of the square with a chilled vermut in hand."
If you haven't been to either their original Soho restaurant, or the newer one just off Oxford Street, the clue to what they're about is in their name. It's a Northern Spanish-focused take on kroketas with a range of other small plates on offer.
There's no word yet on whether the new City branch will offer the breakfast menu launched in their St Christopher's Place restaurant, but we'd expect it to be on the menu here too. We'll bring you more news as we get it.
