Kricket's next modern Indian restaurant is in Covent Garden

Kricket's next modern Indian restaurant is in Covent Garden

It's clear that Kricket is on the expansion trail because, hot on the heels of their Canary Wharf and Shoreditch openings, they're already planning their next restaurant in Covent Garden.

At this point few details have been revealed (the news snuck out as part of a property developer release), other than they're opening in Neal's Yard in Seven Dials. They haven't even revealed the address, but it's apparently a pretty large space (apparently seating 130 diners) so we'll have to wait to see just which site they're taking over.

As for the food, expect the usual Modern Indian cooking that's been a big hit elsewhere, with dishes like their signature samphire pakora, Keralan fried chicken and Keralan sea bream curry likely making the menu. This one will, like Shoreditch, will be an all day space which will serve up their new breakfast offering.

We'll have more details of this one soon.
