Fans of East London's popular churchyard burrito stand Bad Manners got a bit of a shock last week when they were told that it was their last week serving up their OG all day breakfast menu. But the good news is that the pair behind it, Max Fishman and Rodrigo Cervantes, aren't closing, but moving, from one church to another.
Talking to Hot Dinners, they revealed that their next home would be in the churchyard at Shoreditch Church on Shoreditch High Street. There, they'll have a large food trailer in the grounds. The new venue will see them still serving up the breakfast burritos that made their name along with a rotating menu of seasonal lunchtime burritos. But the extra space means they'll also be able to serve an extended roster of dishes.
"We will likely have some other dishes such as tacos, tortas, tamales and more," Max told us. "We've also got some exciting tweaks to our hot drinks programme which I'll be able announce closer to the opening date. We will be able to serve a lot more people, faster and with an elevated offering."
We'll bring you more news on this as we get it.
