For over two decades, Bluebird Chelsea has been a stalwart of the SW3 restaurant scene, appearing in more scenes of Made in Chelsea than we care to remember. Now it's about to make the move east. The team behind it are opening a second restaurant in the City at South Place Hotel where they're taking over the hotel's former 3SP dining space.
Fans of the Chelsea original will be pleased to hear that plenty of signature dishes like the duck salad are making their way east. But Executive Head Chef Rob Grist is also planning various twists to the all-day restaurant's classic recipes. Those include:
- Cornish white crab toast
- Courgette spaghetti
- Tomahawk cooked on the Josper
While the interiors mainly remain the same as before, the biggest changes will be out on the terrace where you'll spot Bluebird blue large umbrellas, planters and there will be private cabanas to book.
