Café Kitsuné is heading to Covent Garden with its matcha teas and patisserie

cafe kitsune is opening in covent garden

Five years on from opening their first London tea shop, the French Japanese brand Café Kitsuné is heading into central London. Up until now if you wanted to try their cute fox-shaped biscuits and matcha lattes you'd have had to head to Belgravia where they have a branch behind the Pantechnicon building. But this Spring they'll be opening in the heart of Covent Garden, on Monmouth Street.

If you haven't been before you can expect to find matcha lattes, pistachio and strawberry Paris Brests and matcha and lemon marble cakes on the menu alongside a range of pleasingly aesthetic sandos.

The new Covent Garden branch will be pretty compact with room for 15 people to sit inside and a small terrace too.
