PYRÃ replaces Lula on Lonsdale Road with live fire cooking and a vinyl bar

The evolution of Lonsdale Road at the heart of Queen's Park's restaurant scene continues with the news that what was Lula has turned into PYRÃ. And with a new name, comes a new chef. Running the kitchen will be Head Chef Mattia Caddeo who comes here with places like The Ivy Collection and Novikov under his belt. He's bringing in more of a live fire element to the cooking with dishes including:

  • Spanakopita pie with seasonal greens spinach and feta
  • Veal chop on the bone
  • Grilled octopus skewers
  • Ferrero Rocher baklava

Sharing is the name of the game here, so if you're a Joey doesn't share food kind of person you might want to give this a swerve. One of the key dishes is going to be a whole leg of lamb that has to be ordered a day in advance.

A few weeks after the launch of the restaurant comes the second phase with the arrival of The Loft. That's an upstairs vinyle bar which will serve up wine and cocktails and host DJ events.
