Here are the London restaurants who won a Michelin Bib Gourmand for 2025

Every year, before the main stars are announced, Michelin usually reveals the Bib Gourmands a few days or more in advance. But this year, for some reason that we can't fathom, the guide didn't really announce them at all. Instead, at the awards event, they revealed how many new Bibs they had awarded and seemed to want the audience to applaud the number without saying who actually won them. The Bibs themselves were eventually revealed at the bottom of the press release sent out after the event.

It's a big misfire for these awards that celebrate those restaurants which aren't aspiring for Michelin status (or pricing) and in the guide's words are the "best value for money restaurants". But we think they're worth celebrating; so if Michelin won't do it, we're here to showcase the London winners.

Here's our roundup of all the London restaurants which won a Bib Gourmand in 2025:

  • AGORA (Borough Market) - OMA got a star and the best new opening award, but we also love its sibling (and similarly Greek-inspired) downstairs restaurant Agora.
  • Artusi (Peckham) - The Italian restaurant gained a second outpost in Soho but the original got a Bib this year
  • Donia (Soho) - Excellent Filipino restaurant in Carnaby with must-have ube choux.
  • Josephine Bouchon (Chelsea) - Claude and Luci Bosi's hugely popular French restaurant which is also opening in Marylebone this year
  • July (Fitzrovia) - An Alsatian wine bar
  • Kolae (Borough Market) - Modern Thai grill from the Som Saa team
  • Mambow (Clapton) - Abby Lee's move to Clapton with her Malaysian restaurant has been a big hit
  • Miga (Hackney) - Family-run modern Korean kitchen that's super hot right now
  • Mignonette (Richmond) - Local chef John McClements' very affordable French restaurant
  • Morchella (Clerkenwell) - Mediterranean restaurant from the Perilla team
  • The Hero (Maida Vale) - Combo pub and grill room from The Pelican team

And if you want more - here's who won a Michelin star this year.
