The UK's restaurant awards season is in full swing. We've just had the Top 50 Gastropubs and Michelin is next week but in the meantime we have the Good Food Guide Awards for 2025 to consider. The winners were announced in a glitzy ceremony at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London last night with presenter Richard Bacon on hosting duties.
London had shortlisted candidates in every category but, in the end, only managed three winners. The Devonshire picked up the prize for best value set menu, The Dover won for Most Beautiful Restaurant and Jason and Irha Atherton were given the inaugural Russell Norman Award for Restaurateur of the Year for a series of new openings including Row on 5.
Here's the full list of winners (and the runners-up). Congratulations to everyone involved.
