Back at the end of November 2023, the ground floor of the redeveloped Arding & Hobbs building at Clapham Junction reopened as Botanica Hall. Now the upper part of the building is getting ready to open, and this part is being billed as "Clapham’s first private members club", The Arding Rooms.
Inside, it looks like the design will benefit from the restored domed atrium of the Arding & Hobbs building which is where you'll find a restaurant, bar, and various spaces to hire privately. Possibly the most important bit is access to the big roof terrace which will be very useful in the warmer months. As for the food and drink, all we know is that it will have "an ethically sourced food and drinks menu that will feature many local providers and a weekend brunch menu".
It all comes from the x+y group, who have similar clubs in Birmingham and Marble Arch. And now for the important bit - how much does it cost? That will be £90 - £120 per month as well as a joining fee of £300.
