Ling Ling’s heads to Tottenham's The Bluecoats for a full time residency

ling ling's gets a residency at Tottenham's The Bluecoats put

The roaming supperclub turned residency Ling Ling's has found a new full-time home in the heart of Tottenham for its next residency. It's going to be running the food side of things at The Bluecoats, just down the road from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

If you haven't managed to catch chef Jenny Phung and her partner James Shepherd at their various previous pop-ups, then you're in for a treat. The menu is Chinese-inspired but not restricted by tradition. So you'll find roasts, pub snacks and more all with a Chinese take.

Planned for the regular menu will be dishes like chicken & Thai basil wontons alongside "Dad’s aromatic duck salad" and matcha & white chocolate tiramisu. The move to The Bluecoats also allows them to bring back their take on a Sunday roast which has gained legendary status. Think Five spiced pork belly and Crispy skin chicken with ginger & spring onion oil served with Yorkshire puddings, roasties and a miso gravy.

On match days there's a need for a totally different, easily-served snack menu for footie fans. They've more than risen to that challenge with options including Sichuan chicken wings, a Taiwanese chicken burger and a McLing fillet o fish featuring a nori tartare sauce in a potato bun.

To welcome their new residency, the pub will also be getting a fresh wine and cocktail list to go with Ling Ling's menu. All in all, it sounds like a welcome addition to the Tottenham food scene and it's going to be a total boon on match days.
