Kricket are on the expansion trail again, following up their recent Canary Wharf opening by coming to Shoreditch.
Taking over the space that was most recently Apothecary East, their latest opening will have the same Indian-inspired food as the other Krickets. But they're also trying something new here. As well as the main restaurant, there's going to be an all-day cafe and bar space that will seat around 50. If you've been into this building, we'd say that means the cafe is up front, with the restaurant at the back. They'll also have a private dining room.
That all-day space means that the big new addition will be the addition of breakfasts for the first time ever, with morning dishes including a jaggery-glazed bacon chop with Andhra spiced hash brown and tamarind brown sauce. The all-day menu adds snacks like mutton keema toasties while the main restaurant menu will have the usual Kricket specialities. They'll also be serving up their take on a Sunday lunch.
