Pick Your Own are all about sustainable salads in the City

Pick Your Own brings new sustainable salads to the City

If you're in the City and permanently thinking about what to have for lunch, the arrival of brand new salad spot Pick Your Own (aka PYO) should be of interest.

As the name somewhat gives away, it's a choose-your-own salad place. You'll be creating a salad of four key parts. The base could be seasonal shredded veg, chopped lettuce or some fava beans. Then another layer gets added for "texture" like chicken crackling or pickled chillies and shallots followed by dressing like dill buttermilk or coronation caesar. then finally, you can top it off with something like glazed ham hock or chilli-crusted wild sockeye salmon.

They'll also have ready-made salads for the choice-averse among you, including a salad version of lamb shawarma. That's backed up with a big juice menu. Sustainability is a big part of PYO too and they've teamed up with farmers focused on regenerative farming practices and will be championing these producers.

So if you need something new on the lunch front, this could be worth bearing in mind.
