They only launched their first London sandwich shop last year, but Sandwich Sandwich already have their next place ready to go. And this time they're going big.
When they revealed the opening, they rather confidently said that this will be "the biggest sandwich shop in the UK" although that assertion is missing from their final opening date announcement. That said, the shop should be around 3500 sq ft (which does, to be fair, sound pretty massive to us)
They're sticking to the City for the second opening, near Fenchurch Street station. As for the sandwiches themselves, expect an "if it ain't broke don't fix it approach" with recent sandwiches including:
- Sliced southern fried chicken, house coleslaw, spicy creole sauce
- Coronation chicken, roast chicken, mild curried mayo, fresh cucumber, iceberg mango chutney & mint yoghurt
- Overnight roasted sirloin of beef, red onion, tomato, cheddar & horseradish mayo
- Hoisin pulled pork, pulled pork, hoisin sauce, cucumber & spring onion
