Earlier this year, chef Claude Bosi, together with his wife Lucy, opened French bouchon Josephine in Chelsea to rave reviews. It was, however, for those of us who don't live in West London, not blessed with the easiest public transport connections.
We'd been hearing rumblings for a while that the chef was planning a follow-up in a much more central location, and recently from Code deduced that he was looking at Marylebone.
Now, thanks to one of our eagle-eyed readers, we know exactly where this new Josephine would be opening. Bosi's taking over the space that was Daylesford Organic, a pretty large space on Blandford Street. Few details have been revealed about the new opening yet, but we can assume that it'll have as decidedly a French approach as the original with dishes like the soft-boiled egg in jelly, the cheese souffle and an excellent rum baba winning us over when we visited for a Test Drive.
We'll have more details on this one soon.
Thanks to Hot Dinners reader David for the spot.
