Earlier this year, we had the Top 50 Cocktails Bars, which covered the UK and now we're onto the world with the reveal of the World's 50 Best Bars. The UK does considerably better in these awards than the World's 50 Best Restaurants, taking five places on the list (the most of any European destination). Coming top for the UK was Tayer + Elementary, which also got an extra award to take home as Monica Berg was awarded the "Roku Industry Icon" accolade.
Other UK placements were The Connaught Bar at 13, Satan's Whiskers at 29, Panda & Sons (in Edinburgh) at 30, Scarfe's Bar at The Rosewood at 37. While not on the list, Lyaness did manage to get the Siete Misterios Best Cocktail Menu Award for its 3.0 Cookbook menu, which we reviewed here.
