You'll probably be aware of them as a pasta delivery service. But fresh pasta company Pasta Evangelists are also getting into the London restaurant game. First, they teamed up with Michelin-starred chef Giancarlo Perbellini for a spot in the Harrods Dining Hall. Next, they opened a standalone restaurant in Richmond. Clearly that must have worked for them because they've just opened a second South London spot, this time in Greenwich.
The Greenwich branch (or pasta emporium, as they're dubbing it) will serve up fresh pasta for both dining in and taking away. But what we were most drawn by was the idea that there's a complimentary self-pour wine machine. That's right - everyone either sitting down to eat, or grabbing something to go will get a free glass of vino. The machine contains a range of Italian wine curated by the Wine52 delivery company and it certainly makes waiting for your pasta more enjoyable.
They're also promising free weekly wine tastings, informal Italian lessons and kids’ pasta-making sessions on Saturdays.
