There's already a lot of buzz around what Gordon Ramsay has planned for his upcoming clutch of openings at City skyscraper 22 Bishopsgate. But the chef and restaurateur is ramping things up with the announcement this week that he'll be filming the whole thing for Netflix.
The streaming service made the announcement at the Edinburgh Television Festival, saying that it was "in production on a docuseries about multi Michelin starred chef, Gordon Ramsay. The series will follow Gordon in the lead up to his biggest restaurant venture to date: the opening of 5 culinary experiences in London’s 22 Bishopsgate."
The whole thing is being produced by Ramsay's own television company, Studio Ramsay Global and will be filmed over a period of nine months. The director will be Dionne Bromfield who has worked with the chef before on Gordon, Gino & Fred's Road Trip, and also on the First Dates Hotel.
There's no date specified as to when this will air but the restaurants are expected to open in February 2025. As Netflix say: "Watch, or be an idiot sandwich."
