Since leaving the Holborn Dining Room, pie master Calum Franklin's main efforts have been at his new restaurant in Paris, Public House. Now he's bringing a taste of his Parisian adventures to London with a special menu at Cut at 45 Park Lane. Yes, there will be pies.
The Calum Franklin x CUT at 45 Park Lane pop-up is a team-up between Calum and Cut's Wolfgang Puck and Elliott Grover. Calum will be serving up The Public House Scotch Egg from Paris, as well as two of his signature pies - the chestnut mushroom & tarragon pie and the dauphinoise potato & aged cheddar pie. Wolfgang Puck is getting in on the pie game too, creating a Trio of Mini Pies starter, which features king prawn curry puffs, a snow crab tart and a pickled mackerel pie.
The three chefs have teamed up for the Australian Wagyu Beef Wellington and there's also a steamed lamb shoulder suet pudding. As for dessert, there's a very British jelly and ice cream.
For pie fanatics and fans of Calum Franklin, this looks like a must-visit. The menu will be at Cut for only five days, so you'll need to get a booking in fast.
