Copenhagen's Gasoline Grill burger joint is popping up in London

One of the most talked-about burger restaurants in Copenhagen is coming to London - Gasoline Grill is popping up in King's Cross.

It's hugely popular in Copenhagen, partly because they have an outpost at the airport which is a must-visit if you're passing through there and call yourself a real burger connoisseur. It was given its name because it originally opened in a working petrol station. Since then it's been the recipient of plenty of burger awards. But this will be the first time it's appeared anywhere outside the city, let alone the country, so you'll want to book a visit to this one quickly.

The London menu, where it's popping up at Double Standard in The Standard hotel, will feature the signature smash burgers, as well as a vegetarian version, and their Nashville hot chicken sandwich. They're also introducing a special Surf n Turf burger for London. And at the weekend, brunch specials will include hot Nashville chicken waffles and blueberry pancakes.

So, if you've been seeing the burgers all over TikTok but have never been to Copenhagen to try them, this one's for you.
