Updated 20/8/24 with opening date
They already have two rooftop bars under their belt (Wagtail and Aviary) now the ETM restaurant group are about to take on a new venue overlooking Trafalgar Square.
Kitty Hawk (not to be confused with the Moorgate bar of the same name, which was from a different company) is getting ready to open in the space that used to be Bisushima up at the top of the Page 8 Hotel.
If you remember that space, it's a pretty big restaurant with a wrap around terrace with amazing views across to Nelson's Column. A quick look at designs suggests they're keeping it roughly the same layout, so there's a decent sized bar as you enter and booth tables along the sides.
As for the food it looks like oysters will be a thing here - options on a launch menu include Jersey rocks, Carlingford and Maldon.
Other dishes include:
- Lobster and crab risotto cakes
- Salt marsh lamb rack with anchovy crusted heritage carrots
- Cornish lemon sole with wild sea greens and caper butter sauce
They're also planning a weekend bottomless brunch menu and there's going to be a decent bar food menu if you're just here for cocktails and bites.
