The Dusty Knuckle come to Highbury Fields with a cafe in a van

Dusty Knuckle have arrived in Islington, and they're trying something new. While they've delivered by milk float before, this will be their first-ever bakery in an actual van. It's parked up in Highbury Fields (near the bottom of the tennis courts section) and they say they're planning to be there for the next 12-18 months.

The bakery will have a selection of bread (including their fabulous potato sourdough, of course) alongside pastries and the odd cheese toasties (with a few new items planned for the menu here). Coffee will be from Origin coffee roasters and it'll be open every day from 8am - 4.30pm. As locals who go round the park almost daily, we think this is very good news indeed.

It's not the only cafe planned for this area either. Apparently the permanent cafe space nearby has already been leased to someone else. If any of our readers know who that is, get in touch.
