Step this way, doughnut fans. Following the success of Donutelier’s launch on Charing Cross Road last year, comes news of their second London outlet, which will open in Carnaby St for all those must-find-munchies-in-Soho moments.
There’ll be a range of Danish pastries and croissants but, let’s face it, this place is all about the doughnuts. Some of their carefully constructed creations that look almost too good to eat include:
- Dulcey Pecan: Blonde chocolate ganache filling, salted caramel, caramelised pecans, almond sable cubes and dulcey-chocolate pearls
- Black Forest: Milk chocolate Chantilly cream and cherry coulis filling, chocolate ganache, milk chocolate shavings, Chantilly cream and Amarena cherry
- Vanilla Cookie Cream: Vanilla ganache, Oreo crumble, Chantilly cream and an Oreo cookie
Plus, this location will have an exclusive - the Carnaby Toffee Pudding.
If patisserie is your weakness, a box from this boutique bakery, which likens itself to a fashion atelier with doughnuts as its muse, makes a gorgeous-looking gift to yourself or potentially a crowd-pleaser for an outing or special event. Limited-edition summer flavours (Apricot Crumble, Raspberry Rose Crème, Yuzu Meringue) have also just launched, which is all the excuse we need.
