The Ledbury voted best in the UK at the 2024 National Restaurant Awards (plus see the full top 100)

The Ledbury is voted best in the UK at the National Restaurant Awards

One of the biggest awards shows for UK restaurants took place last night, where the 2024 National Restaurant Awards revealed its list of the top 100 restaurants in the UK.

It was a big night for The Ledbury which managed to grab the top slot for the first time since its big post-Covid revamp. It topped the list for three years from 2010 - 2013, so this will be very good news for Brett Graham who blinged up his restaurant quite a bit for this recent revamp.

This year's list also proved to be good news for Mountain, which goes straight into the list at number two, which is quite the achievement for the extremely popular Soho restaurant. It's also a double for Tomos Parry as Brat remains in the list at no 47.

Other notable new London entries that made the top 50 this year include The Devonshire at no. 9 (which also won Opening of the Year), Kolae at no. 27, Chishuru at 31 (Adejoké Bakare also won Chef of the Year), Brooklands at 34 and Cycene at no. 48.

Outside of London, Moor Hall made it to no 3, while last year's winner Ynyshir dropped to no 5. And while he did close Le Gavroche recently, Michel Roux was awarded a lifetime achievement award this year.
