It's always one of our favourite parties to go to each year and last night's bash by Fortnum's at The Royal Exchange was no different. The party was held to announce the famous food shop's annual Food and Drink Awards, celebrating the UK's writers, photographers and content creators.
Going home with gongs last night were the Financial Times restaurant critic Tim Hayward, writer and expert on Chinese food Fuschia Dunlop and cookery writer Melek Erdal for her work in Vittles and The Guardian. There was also a special prize for TV presenter and restaurateur Rick Stein recognising his 50-year career and Personalities of the Year went to The Hairy Bikers, a bittersweet moment since Dave's death earlier this year.
