Nieves Barragan and José Etura's Sabor is coming back from the Christmas holidays looking a little different than before. Previously a bar space, right inside the front door you'll notice something quite different - a new table for 10 people. This is La Mesa.
Its main use will be a group table that you can book on the ground floor, where you can order both dishes from the main counter as well as the upstairs room. So, you can get the buzz of the downstairs restaurant without having to wait for a space at the counter - as long as you can rustle up nine people to dine with, of course.
That said, if you can't pull together that number, they will be having events on the table too, like one-off tasting menus with sherry or cava pairings so there will be chances to book spaces on one of those.
That's not it for the changes though. There's been a refresh throughout the building, the most notable one being the main counter which has changed from black to white quartz so that will look very different from before.
