CODE Hospitality’s 30 Under 30 list announced for 2023

Where would any of us be without the fabulous chefs, sommeliers and front-of-house staff working their hardest to keep us happy in London's restaurants and bars? The hospitality title CODE has just announced its annual 30 under 30 list, shining a spotlight on those doing exciting and trailblazing things within the world of hospitality.

Chefs and front-of-house teams feature heavily in the list with London and its thriving restaurant scene predominantly shining through but roles like Head Housekeeper at The Athenaeum Hotel & Residencies held by Charlotte Shaw (27) and Head of Fermentation and R&D at SILO held by Ryan Walker (23) sees the first time such roles feature in the list.

CODE Founder, Adam Hyman says "I love publishing our 30 under 30 each year. It shines a spotlight on the amazing young talent in the industry across the UK. While we all know the industry is full of brilliant people who have devoted their older years to hospitality, we take this opportunity to celebrate the younger generation who are the future and we can't wait to see them grow in their roles and beyond."

Two Michelin starred The Ledbury, Maybourne Hotel Group (that’s Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley hotels), St. JOHN Smithfield and hit new opening Mountain all get a mention.
