Ever since their Patisserie chefs Mauro and Daniel won Bake Off: The Professionals 2023 The Landmark London has been doing its best to bring the chefs' top-tier pastry work to the fore. Now, for the festive season, they've opened a cake shop pop-up in the hotel's foyer which will be selling a range of festive French pastries.
What we're particularly interested in though are the range of broissants - a new mash-up to add to the ranks of crodoughs, cruffins and cronuts. Described as "a delicious combination of both brioche and croissant" this will come in four flavours:
- Eggnog mascarpone cream
- Salted pistachio and praline custard
- Raspberry gel and Madagascan vanilla custard
- Valrhona chocolate cremaux with caramel sauce.
You'll find the shop at the hotel's back entrance making it a handy spot to dive into if you're travelling through Marylebone station in the run-up to Christmas.
