Updated 4/12/23 with opening date
Fatto a Mano started selling pizzas in Brighton and Hove before landing in King's Cross last year. Now they're getting ready to double up in London with a second pizzeria, this time in Covent Garden.
As with their previous restaurants, they'll be serving Neapolitan pizzas topped with local British ingredients. Alongside the usual Margherita, 'Nduja and Diavolo pizzas, you'll also find:
- The Lasagna pizza - Beef ragu , bechamel, smoked provola , mozzarella, parmesan, basil
- Pancetta, Porcini & Gorgonzola - Black pepper pancetta , Porcini mushrooms, gorgonzola, mozzarella, parmesan, basil
- Pesto, Courgette & Buffalo Bocconcini - Buffalo bocconcini, roast peppers, courgettes, basil pesto, parmesan, oregano
And on top of that, you'll find Campania fries, calzone fritters, fried polenta and more. And all the pizzas can be made with non-gluten dough too. Craft beer is also a speciality, so you'll find beers from both London and also from their home in Brighton.
As for the location, it's taking over from what used to be Nutshell, so it's a ground floor and mezzanine set up, with the Neapolitan oven taking centre stage on the ground floor.
