Hicce in King's Cross is closing

Hicce in King's Cross is closing

Pip Lacey and Gordy McIntyre have recently been getting established in Islington with Hicce Hart and Little Pizza Hicce, but news has come that the original Hicce in King's Cross is closing after nearly six years.

The news was announced late last week on Instagram and essentially sees them being a victim of their landlord Wolf and Badger also closing. As they said, "a break clause had been activated in our landlord's lease, ultimately affecting ours." Negotiations had been taking place, but at the end of that they realised they'd have to close the King's Cross restaurant.

It's not over yet, though. The restaurant will continue until the end of the year so if you want to plan one last visit then now's the time. And, as mentioned, they'll still have their places in Islington. Hicce Hart has recently launched Folly Row, which has changed the upstairs room. That's now serving a weekly changing set menu so if you haven't had the chance to visit there, this seems like a good opportunity too.
