Updated 22/11/23 with reopening date

In the nine months since he closed his Restaurant Story in Bermondsey for a massive £2.5 million refurbishment, chef Tom Sellers has kept himself busy. First, he opened Story Cellar in Covent Garden, followed by Dovetale at the 1 Hotel Mayfair. But now he's focusing his attention on the reopening of Restaurant Story, which has been shut since February.

The multi-million makeover coincides with the restaurant's 10th anniversary and has involved the construction of a whole new floor to the restaurant. The new story will feature their take on a chef's table - a space seating 12 guests in front of an open kitchen. There's also an outdoor terrace with fabulous views of the nearby Shard and a lounge area where diners can go for an aperitif or nightcap.

Story 3.0 (it last had a makeover five years back) will also reopen with a much-expanded wine offering, making the two Michelin-starred restaurant an even bigger draw for wine lovers.
