Fresh from toasting their triumph in this year's final of Bake Off: The Professionals, the pastry team from The Landmark London hotel in Marylebone are getting ready to showcase their winning bakes to the public.

Head Pastry Chef Mauro Di Lieto and Pastry Sous Chef, Daniel Schevenels won the closely-fought contest after weeks of wowing the judges Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden.

Their afternoon tea will be served in the hotel's Winter Garden Restaurant and will feature desserts inspired by the cakes baked by the duo for the television series. So you'll find a Chocolate and salted caramel Swiss roll, White chocolate and ginger cheesecake and Raspberry and lemon pavlova with crème fraiche on the menu.

Apparently, the star of the show will be a Valrhona dark chocolate and black truffle mousse with a pecan sponge and pear sorbet - inside diners will discover an acorn of chocolate filled with a tuille and sliced black truffle.

Of course, it wouldn't be afternoon tea with scones and finger sandwiches both of which make an appearance.
