It may currently be shorts and t-shirts weather here in London but there are plenty of businesses who are already making plans for the festive period. Cue immersive entertainment group Swamp Motel which has designs on your Christmas parties.
They're opening a dining experience in London Bridge which will transport diners from the streets of SE1 into the mountain hotel and ski resort, Velvet Pines, which has been hit by a snowstorm and electrical outages. Over the next three and a half hours guests will be treated to a variety of entertainment from the 'hotel staff' and a menu from MasterChef finalist Omar Foster.
Dishes include:
- Roasted Jerusalem artichokes with whipped feta and crispy prosciutto shards
- Confit duck or roasted jackfruit & green lentils in a red wine miso sauce
- Mini bombe Alaska
If you've returned to work post-summer already making plans for your office festive outing, this certainly sounds like one worth running up the flagpole.
