Electric Brixton is going to look very different this October as they get ready for their first-ever Oktoberfest.
They'll be bringing in lots of wooden tables to cover the floor, putting up the Oktoberfest bunting and filling the place with German food and lots and lots of beer by the stein (coming from Spaten, Löwenbräu & Becks). Bavarian street food will be on the menu, with wursts flown in from the Black Forest, huge pretzels and plates of Schweinshaxe (roast pork knuckles).
On the entertainment front, there will be the all-important live oompah music, in this case from German Jukebox who mix modern pop and rock with that Oktoberfest oompah vibe. And yes, there will also be plenty of lederhosen.
