We're always on the lookout for a hot new rooftop bar and the one opening up at The Berkeley sounds on point. There's long been a lovely swimming pool and lounging space up at the top of the Knightsbridge hotel, but that's always been reserved for guests only - until now.
From next month The Berkeley Rooftop Bar will be open to all in the evenings, and it has amazing views over central London. There's a lift to whisk you all the way to the top floor where you can book a table in advance or grab a lounger (those are for walk-ins only). Sadly you won't be able to enjoy the pool itself as that's only a daytime treat for guests.
For food, think light bites like:
- Seared beef with truffle artichoke pesto and rocket
- Marinated squid with courgette spaghetti
- Watermelon, cherry tomato and feta salad
It all looks very White Lotus up there and they're promising magnums of rosé, sangria, highballs and summer spritzes.
You'll find us, sunnies on, by the pool with a cold glass of rosé. Just as long as the British summer holds up its end of the bargain.
