Shoreditch's Seed Library, the bar from Ryan Chetiyawardana (Mr Lyan) below the One Hundred Shoreditch hotel, has been getting some pretty great residencies in. They've already had Norman's Cafe and Ruben's Reubens and now the next residency is getting ready - My Neighbours The Dumplings.
Already a big hit in Clapton and Victoria Park, they'll also be taking over the Shoreditch bar for a three-month stint. As with their restaurants, they'll be using British produce to create some amazing dumplings and snacks. Confirmed for the residency menu are:
- Crispy Prawn Wonton with sweet chilli sauce
- Har Gau, steamed crystal prawn dumplings
- Sui Mai, steamed pork & prawn dumplings topped with salmon roe
- Pork & makrut lime leaf potstickers
- Courgette & Woodear Mushroom potstickers
- Crispy Turnip Cake with soy-cured egg yolk
- Loaded silken tofu with vegan XO sauce, soy glaze and pickled chilli
Alongside those, you'll have plenty of Ryan's cocktails to try like a Coriander seed gimlet. They're also promising some great air conditioning, so if things properly heat up again, this could be the place to be.
