Is Covent Garden ready for two avocado-based restaurants? There's already an Avobar near the Piazza, but now we hear news that The Avocado Show is getting ready to open there too.
The Avocado Show originally came from Amsterdam and set up its first restaurant in London in Mayfair, opening in late 2021. It must be doing pretty good business there to offer Londoners another chance at an almost all-avocado menu (and some very Instagram-friendly backdrops).
As for that menu - here's a taste of what you'll get in the all-day restaurant:
- The Truffle Treasure - Thick-cut toast with avocado and Cajun chicken, topped with truffle mayo and parmesan flakes.
- Mama Mango - A poke bowl with mango, edamame, pickled cucumber and wakame on a bed of sushi rice inside a crown of sliced avocado
- The Bun Burger - With avocado instead of buns, topped with a beef patty, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and grill sauce.
They're also adding a new Espresso Avotini, which has avocado cream on top.
