5/6/23 - Updated with the opening date
Following restaurants like Six by Nico and Mowgli, another restaurant group that's made it big elsewhere in the country is heading to London for their next opening. This time it's the turn of South-American rodizio restaurant Fazenda.
If you're unfamiliar with rodizio, it's all about having a parade of grilled meat delivered to your table. At the other Fazenda restaurants around the country, you pay a flat price that includes cuts like picanha, bife ancho (ribeye), Wagyu beef sausage, smoked gammon, chicken thighs and lots more. That's all accompanied by sides that include truffle and parmesan fries, piquillo roasted peppers and empanadas. Alternatively, you can go a la carte if that works better for you.
For dessert, they have dulce de leche-filled churros, the idea of which definitely piques our interest.
As for drinks, expect a wine list with a focus on Argentian, Brazilian, Chilean, and Uruguayan wines, and a cocktail list that's been created just for the London location.
The London restaurant will be on the large side at 10,000 sq ft, with three private dining rooms, fitting in 170 people, and for the first time, they'll also be opening a separate bar too. It's all in the 100 Bishopsgate building, which has recently seen the opening of Paradise Green.
