There are few greater culinary delights out there than the simple pleasures of a good crisp sandwich. You've probably got strong feelings about the bread (sliced white, surely?) and the crisps (obviously ready salted) but until now this has been a treat reserved for late-night snackage at home.
Now, for one week only, the folks at Walkers are taking over sandwich shops the length and breadth of the country for a day of Walkers Sandwich Shops. Here in London, the shop in question will be, you guessed it, Max's Sandwich Shop.
There's not much known about what's going to be on the menu except to say that they're promising a wider range of snack fillings with Max's contribution being Max’s Mighty Monster Muncher. That'll be a Monster Munch-filled fish finger sandwich, with cabbage, chipotle mayonnaise and pico de gallo on home-baked focaccia. I mean you would, wouldn't you?
