Last year, Champagne house Veuve Clicquot caused quite the stir with their breakfast cafe pop-up in Soho. Now the team behind that are back with a new offering, this time in Piccadilly. The 2023 iteration of the Sunny Side Up Café will be part of their Solaire Culture exhibition in Piccadilly Circus. The exhibition celebrates Veuve Clicquot's 250th anniversary with artworks by nine female artists including Yayoi Kusama.
As with the previous popup, chef Andi Oliver will be behind the food and has come up with a range of Caribbean-influenced breakfast dishes to pair with the Champagne.
- Braised short rib burger with lemon salted cucumbers and golden turmeric mayo
- Dippy eggs with marmite soldiers
- Green shakshuka with callaloo, saltfish, chilli & toasted coco bread
- Sweet plantain waffles with fresh mango, chilli & coconut butterscotch
You'll find the cafe up on the exhibition's second floor where there's also a Champagne bar.
