Following on from the huge success of their Dior Cafe and Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama pop-up, Harrods are at it again. They've just unveiled their latest designer collaboration - the Prada Caffè.
Open all day, serving everything from breakfast through to cocktails and bites for aperitivo, the cafe will be on the ground floor of the store until the end of the year. The fashion house says the cafe's been inspired by Prada's stores, like its first in Milan at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. It's all pale green elegance with tableware designed specifically for this popup.
Fashionistas looking for a bite to eat can start the day here with a strong espresso accompanied by pistacchio fagottini and eggs Florentine with caviar. At lunchtime that switches up to dishes like vitello tonnato or risotto Milanese and beef fillet with girolles and pistachio. Everything can come with a bit of black truffle too if you want to stump up the £20 supplement.
If you want to grab and go (and you can presume it'll come in gorgeous packaging) there's a range of pastries and pralines on sale for takeaway throughout the day.
In the evening you can switch it up with a range of cocktails; there'll be Aperol Spritzes, Negroni Sbagliato and a Garibaldi too, alongside a predominantly Italian wine list, with the odd bottle of Krug or Billecart-Salmon thrown into the mix.
