The Market Place empire is continuing to expand. We recently told you about their latest edition in Vauxhall, now it’s northwest London’s turn for some food-hall attention, with the news that their next site is opening in Harrow.
In what will be their fourth site in London since launching in 2020, Market Place's new venue in Harrow will seat up to 300 people, and you can choose from indoor and outdoor areas, as well as a dedicated workspace for locals during the day. Relaxation is definitely the intended vibe, though, with families and dogs most welcome, and DJs and entertainment planned for the launch week.
Employing only local suppliers to fit out the renovated space, the brand has created a not-out-of-place in London design of industrial exposed ceilings, green foliage and modern neon signs, with a lively bar to complement the street-food offerings.
Yes, what about the food, you say? Continuing Market Place’s ethos of championing independent food and drink businesses, the all-important starting line-up will include eight permanent street-food traders, six of which we know to be the following:
- Bread Ahead Bakery
- Argentinian Grill
- Farm House Kebabs
- Little Tokyo
- Pepper Spice
- Chaii & Spice
It’ll open daily until 11:30pm, which will certainly shake things up on the Harrow high street.
