New openings are still happening at Borough Yards. The latest to arrive in the area are Mondo Beer + Pizza and yes, you can probably guess what they're serving.
The restaurant comes from Mondo Brewing Company who are also based in Nine Elms but this is their first location away from the main brewery. They've teamed up with pizzeria Joe Public, who you might have seen on Clapham Common. At Borough Yards, there is a small wine list but really it's all about the beer. They have 15 beers on offer (including the ice cream flavour Candy Candy beer) served from copper tanks on the ceiling.
That'll be served alongside Joe Public's pizzas and, looking at their Clapham menu, you can expect pizzas like:
- Chicken & chorizo halloumi, oregano
- Courgette & aubergine, garlic butter
- Pepperoni, mozzarella, tomato, chilli flakes, parmesan
At Clapham, they also serve pizzas by the slice and you can do the same at Borough Yards, so you should be able to pop in for a beer and a slice.
