Ploussard restaurant and wine bar comes to Battersea Rise from Other Side Fried founders

Ploussard restaurant and wine bar comes to Battersea Rise from Other Side Fried founders

10/3/23 - updated with the opening date

It's all happening in Battersea right now. Alongside upcoming wine bar Archway, we also have news of a new neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar Ploussard on the way.

Ploussard comes from Matt Harris and Tommy Kempton, who also happen to be the founders of Other Side Fried. Matt's in charge of the food, having previously been head chef at The Parlour (Kensal Rise), One Leicester Street (Soho) and Lamberts (Balham).

His seasonal menu will include:

  • Lamb & anchovy crumpet
  • Potato & egg yolk ravioli, with fermented wild garlic butter
  • BBQ scallop, Jerusalem artichoke & back fat
  • Mangalitza pork chop, buttermilk potato & beer mustard sauce
  • Burnt bay custard tart & poached rhubarb

That all comes with a low-intervention wine list in a restaurant that's on the compact side, fitting in just 34 diners, alongside a small counter area where you'll be able to grab some bar snacks.
