Paradise in Soho should be on your list as a new late-night haunt as they're get ready to launch Paradise After Dark.
It'll all kick in from Thursday to Saturday, after dinner finishes, with their aim to shift the restaurant into what'll be "an intimate bar with speakeasy vibes". We think that Paradise is one of the best-looking restaurants in Soho (we love the Brutalist feel) and reckon it'll be perfect for those late-night vibes.
For this new after-hours bar, they're working with Sri-Lankan distillery Rockland who will be bringing over aged halmilla, spiced coconut arracks and Sinhalese craft rums. And there will be new cocktails too. Head Bartender Erin Mulkerrin-English is working with the kitchen to make some new low-waste cocktails like a pol-roti old fashioned and a smokey clarified bloody mary.
The good news is that they're doing food as well. There will be a new short-eats menu and on that, you'll find Mangalitsa pickled pigs-head patties, truffle and green chilli kimbula banis and Ceylonese spiced prawns with mango and seaweed butter. So if you find yourself peckish later in the evening in Soho, this definitely sounds like the place to be.
