Norman's Cafe popped up there last year and now it's the turn of Brixton smokehouse Ruben's Reubens to take on the residency in Shoreditch's Seed Library.
Ruben Dawnay will be in charge of the food in the bar for two months and yes, his pastrami and salt beef will be on the menu. Here's a taste of what to expect:
- Reuben spring roll - Salt beef brisket spring roll served with Russian Dressing
- Buffalo burnt ends and ranch - Braised pork cheeks tossed with hot sauce and dressed with ranch sauce
- Pastrami sausage, mustard - Cured sausage with classic pastrami spices, served with honey mustard
- Jam on toast - Smoked bacon and red onion jam served on toasted sourdough
The Mr Lyan bar will have the usual cocktails to go alongside, including a Red Dandelion Negroni and a Coriander Seed Gimlet. So if you fancy some top salt beef and cocktails - this is the place to come.
