Quo Vadis is getting a big refurb and doubling its capacity

Quo Vadis is getting a big refurb and doubling its capacity

Some years ago, when Barrafina moved to Dean Street, it came at the cost of dramatically reducing the space available for Jeremy Lee's Quo Vadis. Now we're happy to report that Quo Vadis itself is doing something of a land grab and will soon have double the space inside.

Previously only able to take 20 diners, capacity will be expanding to a much more convivial 40. The move comes at the same time as they're changing the main reception area to the building which means saying goodbye to the revolving door (which we'll happily exchange for a bigger Quo Vadis). The reception will get smaller, while the dining room is getting new red Georgian-style dining sofas and a reclaimed Georgian wood floor.

They'll also be adding a new black and white striped QV awning outside to further protect alfresco diners from the elements. As for the menu, we're promised new dishes when Jeremy Lee and his team return after the big refurb and we'll have more details closer to the reopening.

More about Quo Vadis

Where is it? 26-29 Dean St, London W1D 3LL

When does it re-open? It closes for the refurb on 2 January and reopens on 8 February 2023.
